How to correctly associate a button with ToolBara with a menu item in MainMenu? Find similar branches

kserg@ukr.net   (2001-12-19 13:11) [0]

I linked the menu with the menu button via its MenuItem link.
And everything automatically hooked on the menu:
OnClick event, hint, icon.
But when I programmatically set the menu item Enable,
then the button still looks accessible.
Although the onclick event is not really called.
What's the matter?
Thanks in advance.

All parameters associated with the MenuItem (Hint, Enable, icon) button must be set programmatically synchronously with the corresponding menu items. Unfortunately.

Link these controls (menu element and button) through a single TAction in a TActionList. This centralization of logic will allow you to manage the state of the sv-va Enabled of all TAction-related controls through the state of a single sv-va - TAction.Enabled

Not only Enabled but also Visible, Checked, etc.

Dear, I think you are mistaken: I do not have Hint-a on the button,
and he "leaves"; ImageIndex on the button = -1, and when loading the button has a corresponding icon.
So I realized that the case is dark ...
