TString and String Find similar branches

Maybe this is a stupid question, but how can a string from a String be translated into a TString

DieHard   (2001-12-07 11:23) [1]

Tstrings?
TStrings has the Text property: string

TonnyS   (2001-12-07 11:24) [2]

What is tstring? TStrings in the sense of? if so, then the question is not clear. TStrings is a string set class. You can write:
var ts: tstrings; st: string; begin ts: = tstrings.create; ... ts.Add (st); ... ts.free; end;

DieHard   (2001-12-07 11:52) [3]

2TonnyS: correction - instead of TStrings in the code you need to use TStringsList ...

sudiv   (2001-12-07 12:11) [4]

The question is really strangely incomprehensible.
Means how to hammer a line in TStrings?

var MyStr: String; .... var TMyStr: TStrings; begin .... MyStr: = "Example"; TMyStr.Add (MyStr) .... end;

Is that something ???

Another trick, instead of TStringsList
var ts: tstrings; st: string; begin ts: = TStringList.Create; ... ts.Add (st); ... FreeAndNil (ts); // It will be a little more convenient afterwards, maybe end;
