Data update Find similar branches

Hello, Dear All-knowing All! Can someone explain me a stupid way to update the data on the database server? I am writing a three-tier application using DCom. The data on the client has been updated, then ClientDataSet1.ApplyUpdates (-1). The client sends the delta to the application server, but what happens then on the application server is not how I do not understand. How to make him physically update the data? And how to access this delta on the application server. Can someone tell me? I would be very grateful.

Analyze the return value of ApplyUpdates
0 - everything is ok
> 0 - the number of errors
To handle errors, use dataset events.
